The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

This weekend I’m working on the blog…. it’s Bloggiesta time!

Today is the last day of the Mini-Bloggiesta and I’ll be:

[list icon=”icon: wrench”]

  • Writing reviews
  • Working through some more of my online web design course
  • Completing Bloggiesta challenges
  • Researching Feedburner alternatives

I have no clue how much I’ll get done but it’s snowin’ and blowin’ outside so it could be productive.

I just have a few books to list this week.  A couple I forgot from last week and some I bought this week.  It’s been a quiet week overall.  Winter dull-drums and all…  I hate winter…

Wallbanger crave torn

Rumor has it Fifth Grave

That’s it for me!  What awesome books are you reading????

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of "happily ever after" books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It's for her family's sake. When not reading, she's homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

The next Bloggiesta is in March so I would definitely check it out. It is so worth it, if only to meet new people or learn a trick or two!!!

I’m still holding out on Fifth Grave… waiting a bit longer until Sixth Grave… working at a library has the perk of not worrying about late fees 😉 I just grabbed it so I could have it ready and waiting (and so no one else would grab it!!!) I’m evil, I know!!

I’ve kicked myself forever for not buying the e-book a year ago for Wallbanger!! I know I’ll love it!!!

YES!! I highly recommend Bloggiesta!! It’s coming around in March again – a full one I believe!!

I actually just found Bloggiesta’s new website and signed up for their emails about a week ago so I got very lucky I caught the mini-bloggiesta. I can’t tell you how many I’ve missed in my two years of blogging!!!!! Next one is in March, tho!!!!

You will LOVE First Grave!!! Hysterical. If you don’t I’ll buy the book off you!!!

And yes, I giggle everytime I see Wallbanger (and the cover – OMG!!). I was kind of embarassed in the Target check out lane when I bought it!!! Tee, hee!!!

I’m just getting into contemporary romance so I think Jill Shalvis will be perfect!!! Her and the author who writes Rowdy’s book – I think it’s the Under the covers series. Ugh, I’m brain dead right now!!!

  1. What is wrong with you? You haven’t read Fifth Grave yet? Yikes! I hate HATE winter too. I get so dang down. Hey only two more months until spring, well at least according to the calendar. I should have done Blogiesta as I spent all week organizing my blog. So glad to finally get it done!

*head bowed in shame* I know!!! Some Grimlet I am, huh?!?! Stupid review books got in the way!!! I’m rectifying that situation, tho!!! At least I wear my Grimlet shirt to the library – all the girls love it!! They are all fans of the series 😀

      Bloggiesta is back in March!!!

Nothing is up with Feedburner, per se. Mine has always been messed up. I have it set up wrong and I just need to get out from under it. It started when I set it up wrong when I switched from Blogger to WordPress. I moved myself so that may have had something to do with it. Basically, WordPress is feeding into Feedburner right now. I need to remove Feedburner from the equation without losing subscribers. Yikes…. My brain hurts thinking about it!!

  2. We seemed to have missed out on winter this year completely here in SE England, gone straight from fall to spring. I;m still working on the Bloggiesta Challenge, the technical side of blogging is still the most challenging for me.

I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to with Bloggiesta. Don’t sweat the technical stuff too much. You can always Google stuff. And look up past challenges, that might help. Also, has lots of lessons online you can take to help you with coding, etc. I believe it’s still a monthly subscription and then you learn to your heart’s content.

      Good luck!!!!!!

I’ve put off Fifth Grave on your advice. I took it out from the Library so no one else would. I don’t pay late fees so….. yeah, I’m a real winner, huh??

I’m still reading Alienated so I technically haven’t started Red Rising but it’s next. Kim sold me on it!!! I can’t believe no one at the library grabbed the ARC, it was just sitting on the shelf. Lucky me!!! I can’t wait to see your review!!!

    • K

See, now I’m torn!! Red Rising is up next, but then it’s either Wallbanger or Winner’s Curse!!! UGH!!! YES, I heard a year ago and today that Wallbanger IS hysterical and good.

I need more time to read!! Stupid review books looking so damn good!! Who gave me access to review books, anyways??? They were insane!!! 😀
